so once I was on a very long bus ride in Japan and I wasn’t tired so I wrote down a bunch of fanfic ideas on a notecard. That is the notecard. Here they are, in order:

• mako kills his own parents (now a ficlet)
• parents aren’t dead
  - mako a freshman (in college for engineering! i don’t know why engineering, it just fits)
  - bolin in high school (wants to be a kindergarten teacher)
• spirits hijack Korra’s body because threatened by techno. advancement - asami shoots her (ugh here)
• tenzin is amon
• pema teaches mako & bolin how to read in exchange for babysitting (I STILL WANT TO WRITE THIS)
• korra’s love interest is tenzin’s son from his first marriage to lin. lin does not approve. Drama (this was bolded over)
• mako & bolin are air acolytes who managed to learn air bending
• second tier avatars = spirit of the republic city
• romantic comedy where bending is visual art, musical, physical, or verbal. asami is jazz singer, bolin is dancer, mako is painter. korra can do all 4 but is terrible at poetry
• bolin and mako are nonbending professional thieves. bolin breaks korra out when arrested by lin (now a ficlet)
• mako + bolin take asami out for her birthday “street style” (I still want this, can I have this? please and thank you)
