i dont read homestuck
but this is what i know about it MERELY FROM READING MY DASH
- there are characters named john, karkat, vegeta, kanaya, rose, dirk, gamzee, father (or is it dad??) uhh i think there is a nepeta which reminds me of neopets and they do look like weird neopets to me. oh and a dave.
- they’re like intercosmic multi-dimensional self-aware sims or something, right?
- there are zodiac signs
- and trolls
- and a very complicated romance chart
- they are short and have sullen, gloomy eyes most of the time. and no arms. and little pointy teeth sss.
- some of them talk funny
- some of them have horns (the trolls?)
- several of them are very gay/queer/lesbian for each other. or so it has been shipped.
- some people get very defensive about homestuck and there’s a rivalry with hetalia which is something i looked up once and never looked up again
- andrew hussie is some kind of god but he’s a god of pain and misery. im sure if we sacrificed some kittens he’d stop torturing all the characters
- april 14th was important?!
- everyone dies a lot?
- the shipping is like heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. you either know how fast its going or where it is but NOT BOTH because half of the ship might be dead at any moment in time?
- updates regularly spur massive outbursts of feels
- when i think of homestuck, i think of neon green, johndave (why ?!) dante basco getting sucked into homestucking and the character with the pink dress and flower glaring at me from my dash with her sullen soul-eating eyes
